Welcome to Art in the Raw

Thank you for your interest in appearing as a guest on Art in the Raw, the video podcast by Salon Naturale celebrating queer social nudism, body positivity, and creative expression. Before we begin our conversation, please review and agree to these terms and conditions.

1. CONSENT TO RECORD & PARTICIPATE

By proceeding with this interview, you:

Irrevocably consent to being recorded in audio and video format
Acknowledge that the recording will take place on the agreed date and time
Understand that this is a public-facing podcast that explores themes of queer art, creativity, vulnerability, and authentic connection
Confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and legally able to enter into this agreement

2. CONTENT & CREATIVE FOCUS

Art in the Raw explores:

Queer creativity and artistic expression
The relationship between vulnerability and art-making
Body positivity and naturist philosophy as it relates to creative practice
LGBTQ+ community experiences and artistic journeys
The creative process and artistic development

You understand that:

Discussions may include topics related to nudity in art, body acceptance, and queer identity
The conversation aims to be educational, celebratory, and respectful
All discussions will maintain appropriate boundaries and respect for consent
No actual nudity is required or expected during the interview

3. RIGHTS & USAGE PERMISSIONS

Grant of Rights

You grant Salon Naturale and Art in the Raw the following rights:

Media Usage Rights:

Use of your name, voice, image, likeness, and biographical information
Right to record, edit, reproduce, and distribute the interview content
Permission to use portions of the interview for promotional purposes
Right to create derivative works including clips, highlights, and social media content

Distribution Rights:

Publish the full episode across all podcast platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, etc.)
Share content on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook)
Include the episode in Salon Naturale’s newsletter and website content
Use excerpts for marketing and promotional materials

Perpetual License:

These rights are granted in perpetuity (forever) and worldwide
Rights are royalty-free and require no additional compensation
Salon Naturale retains these rights even if the original episode is later removed

Your Retained Rights

You retain ownership of any pre-existing copyrighted material you share
You may promote and share the episode content freely once published
You retain moral rights to be credited as the source of your contributed content

4. EDITORIAL CONTROL & CONTENT OWNERSHIP

Salon Naturale’s Rights:

Complete editorial control over the final published episode
Right to edit content for length, clarity, flow, and appropriateness
Right to add intro/outro segments, music, and branding elements
Ownership of the final edited episode and all derivative works
No obligation to publish or distribute the episode if deemed inappropriate

Content Standards:

All content must align with Salon Naturale’s mission of celebrating queer art and body positivity
Content that contradicts consent culture, body acceptance, or LGBTQ+ affirming values may be edited or excluded
Salon Naturale reserves the right to decline publication if content doesn’t meet community standards

5. COMPENSATION & EXPECTATIONS

No Monetary Compensation:

This is a voluntary appearance with no financial payment
Your participation and the promotional value constitute sufficient consideration
No expenses (travel, accommodation, equipment) will be covered by Salon Naturale

Mutual Promotional Benefit:

Salon Naturale will promote the episode through its channels
You are encouraged (but not required) to share the episode with your audience
Cross-promotion benefits both parties and the broader queer art community

6. SCHEDULING & LOGISTICS

Recording Commitment:

Episodes are typically 45-90 minutes in length
Recording will take place via video conferencing (Zoom, Riverside.fm, or similar)
You are responsible for ensuring stable internet connection and appropriate audio/video setup

Rescheduling Policy:

Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance
Emergency cancellations will be accommodated when possible
Repeated no-shows may result in decline of future interview opportunities

Technical Requirements:

Quiet, well-lit space for recording
Reliable internet connection
Computer or device capable of video conferencing
Salon Naturale may provide technical guidance if needed

7. COMMUNITY VALUES & CONDUCT

Expected Conduct:

Respectful, authentic dialogue that honors queer experience and artistic expression
Openness to vulnerability while maintaining personal boundaries
Commitment to consent culture and body positivity principles
Professional conduct during all interactions

Prohibited Conduct:

Discriminatory language based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, or body type
Content that sexualizes naturism or conflates nudity with sexual activity
Promotion of conversion therapy, anti-LGBTQ+ ideologies, or body shaming
Any conduct that contradicts Salon Naturale’s mission and values

8. LIABILITY & RELEASE

Release of Claims:
You release and hold harmless Salon Naturale, Art in the Raw, and David (podcast host) from any claims, demands, or liability arising from:

Your participation in the podcast
The editing, distribution, or promotion of the episode
Any third-party use of the published content
Technical issues during recording or distribution

Limitation of Liability:

Salon Naturale’s liability is limited to the removal of content upon reasonable request
No damages will be paid for any alleged misuse of content within the scope of this agreement
You acknowledge that podcast participation carries inherent risks of public exposure

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & ATTRIBUTION

Your Contributed Content:

You warrant that you own or have permission to share all content you provide
You agree not to share confidential, proprietary, or copyrighted material without permission
Proper attribution will be provided for your creative works discussed during the episode

Third-Party Content:

References to other artists, works, or copyrighted material should be clearly identified
Salon Naturale will make reasonable efforts to respect third-party intellectual property rights
You indemnify Salon Naturale against claims arising from your unauthorized use of third-party content

10. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Public Nature:

This is a public podcast intended for broad distribution
Consider carefully what personal information you choose to share
Salon Naturale cannot guarantee privacy for information shared during recording

Off-the-Record Requests:

Clearly state if any information should be considered off-the-record before sharing it
Off-the-record requests made after recording may be honored at Salon Naturale’s discretion
Pre-interview conversations may be used for context and preparation

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

Jurisdiction:

This agreement is governed by the laws of Texas, United States
Any disputes will be resolved in Dallas County, Texas
Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action

Severability:

If any provision of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in full effect
Modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties
